Building products to Independent Merchants, Contractors and Installers.

PACKAGE: £28k - £33k basic plus realistic monthly bonus of c£18k, together with a fully expensed car, mobile, laptop and Pension Scheme,

EMPLOYER:-A well respected and long established manufacturer of PLASTIC BUILDING AND PLUMBING PRODUCTS with a reputation for quality of service and ease of application.


JOB DESCRIPTION:- The role involves managing a network of existing stockists including Builders Merchants, Plumbers Merchants and some Specialist Distributors whilst maintaining an active "back sell" with the Contractors & Installers of the products.

The role is all about identifying new opportunities to increase customer spend, this could be through product training, demonstrations and merchandising with branches. In addition, you'll be creating the demand with end users, contractors and installers by identifying current or upcoming projects, holding breakfast mornings or attending roadshows.

AREA:- Field based role covering North London and the adjoining Home Counties including Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

THE PERSON:- A positive "can do" attitude is a must together with experience in the building product supply or Merchant sector. Ideally you will have a background in field sales but my client will also consider candidates from an internal sales background in either a Merchant or Distributor.
