Business Development Manager – Supplier of Timber products to Merchants & Buying Groups – £45k OTE

Supplier of timber products. Well respected in the construction industry for product quality and service. This role will be developing new business with builders merchants and buying groups.

Package: £35K – £40K with £5k bonus. Company Car, Mobile, Laptop, Pension, 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.

Job Description: Business Development Manager – Based externally you will work both reactively to enquiries and spend time chasing leads and following up quotes to win new business as well as managing existing accounts. Targeting the builders merchants and buying groups marketing the full range of timber products including roof trusses, structural softwood, engineered, panel, battens, garden products such as fencing etc.

The Location: Covering North and Midlands – Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham, Cumbria, Cleveland, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Humberside, South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, East Midlands, West Midlands and Shropshire

Person: We are seeking a proven field sales professional with experience selling timber or relatable products. The ideal candidate will also have sold to merchants or buying groups. We are looking for a self motivated individual who can work off their own initiative and hunt for new business.
