Job – Area Sales Manager – Heavyside Products Manufacturer selling to Contractors – £55k ote

Key area sales role for this established manufacturer of heavyside building and civils products managing and developing relationships with Main Contractors, Sub Contractors and Housing Developers.

PACKAGE: c£45k basic plus generous bonus scheme giving ote in excess of £55k, company car or car allowance plus benefits.

COMPANY: My client is an established UK manufacturer of heavyside products supplied to both the building and civil engineering sectors. They supply UK wide through the Builders Merchants and Specialist Distributor channels for both commercial and residential applications.

THE JOB: The North is a high performing sales territory where you will manage and develop relationships with key customer groups – Main Contractors, Civils & Groundwork Contractors, Housing Developers and key Distributors whilst investigating new markets and new business opportunities.

AREA: This is a home based field sales role covering the North, North West and North East of England. You should ideally be living close to the major motorway links in or around Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hull, Manchester, Liverpool, Carlisle, Newcastle etc.

THE PERSON: You will need to demonstrate a successful track record in sales and business development within heavyside building products. You will need a knowledge of the customer base on the area – typically contractors, housing developers & key merchants at a senior level. You will thrive in a fast moving environment & be able to communicate and influence.
