Job – Area Sales Manager – Timber & Joinery Products to Housebuilders – North & North West

Fantastic career opportunity with a market leading and innovative manufacturer of timber and joinery products. Managing and developing key relationships with national and regional housebuilders and developers across the north and north east of England.

PACKAGE: Basic to £45k plus bonus, company car/car allowance and excellent benefits.

They operate from a state of the art manufacturing facility and supply some of the biggest and most well known national and regional housebuilders and developers. Quick to adapt to changing markets and methods of construction their innovative approach has lead to unprecedented growth in recent years and they continue to grow.

THE JOB: As an Area Sales Manager you will take ownership of key national and regional housebuilder accounts – developing and growing existing and new relationships at all levels from head office to site office. You will also seek out new opportunities where there is no relationship in place and utilising innovation and product development to expand sales with current customers.

AREA; This is a field sales role covering the M62 corridor – incorporating Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire.

THE PERSON: You will need to demonstrate a successful track record selling to housebuilders. Although an advantage to have sold timber and joinery products – it is not essential. You will need a proactive and assertive style with the ability to overcome obstacles and the personality to develop realtionships at multiple levels.
