Job – Business Development Manager – Structural & Civils Products – London – To £60k basic

Selling a specialist range of products and solutions alongside developing specifications with Main Contractors, Structural Engineers, Ground Workers and specialist contractors in line with company strategy.

PACKAGE: £50k – £60k basic plus bonus, generous car allowance, contributory pension scheme and excellent benefits.

COMPANY: My client are a forward thinking European manufacturer of specialist products, systems and solutions aimed at Civil Engineering, Groundworks and Pre-cast concrete/framing applications. They operate globally and are associated with numerous major construction and infrastructure projects. They enjoy an enviable reputation for technical and project support.

THE JOB: This is a key role covering London. You will manage and develop key relationships and key projects – providing technical advice and product application solutions to new and existing clients – typically specialist contractors. You will also provide CPD presentations and professional advice to influence purchasing decisions.

AREA: The sales territory focusses on London and the neighbouring Home Counties. You will need to live within easy access of the M25 – typically London, Middlesex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent or Surrey.

THE PERSON: Ideally you will have a background in civil engineering products, concrete framing or pre-cast. If not you will need to be technically proficient and able to sell solutions based on application and performance. You will be comfortable delivering CPDs to a wide audience and engage at various levels from site to engineer – together with a positive flexible approach and a “can do” attitude.
