Job – Commercial Manager – Roof Ventilation via Contractors – Up to £55k + Bonus

Leading name within the roof ventilation market managing and devleoping the field sales team selling to contractors, housebuilders and local authorities. This is a national role and a fantastic opportunity to join renowned company in a senior level position.

PACKAGE: On offer is a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus up to bonus and annual profit pay, company car or allowance, mobile phone, laptop, pension and healthcare.

EMPLOYER: Our client are a market leading UK manufacturer offering a wide range of ventilation, cavity tray, gas protection and building accessory products.

JOB DESCRIPTION: As the commercial manager you are responsible for the all aspects of the brand, sales team and key negotiations and projects via Contractors, Regional Housebuilders and Local Authorities

Responsibilities Include:

Monitor the competition in the roof ventilation and cavity tray market in conjunction with the marketing team.
Ensure that the sales team work diligently with existing customer base, whilst developing new customer opportunities through the approved channels
Attend customer visits with field sales persons, conducting feedback/coaching
Personal involvement with major or key project negotiations
Personal involvement with the teams key account customers.
Ensure that all sales people are working to the team’s best practice and following the teams strategic actions.
Recruit professional sales staff.
Create induction programme for new staff to motivate and retain
Continue to develop sales procedures
Coach individual staff in relevant issues
Identify and arrange relevant training
Management of the team sales meeting.
Promote core values of the company
Carry out appraisals
Cooperate with the rest of the management team
Actively participate in management meetings

LOCATION: National role – Ideal candidates will be based with good UK motorway access including but not limited too: Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire

CANDIDATE: Our client is looking for an experienced field sales professional in the roof ventilation market although candidates form a relatable product will be considered if they have sold via Contractors, Housebuilders and Local Authorities. Management experience is essential.
