PACKAGE: Up to £36,000 basic salary plus 10-25% bonus- company car, pension, mobile phone, laptop and other benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a field sales professional you will be responsible for selling and promoting a premium and value for money brands to a designated merchant customer base in a fiercely competitive environment. Additionally your role will include:

– develop and manage a business plan by customer by brand designed to achieve overall territory targets

– grow the sector via targeted promotion

– constantly review the profitability of the customer files

– produce and implement a promotional calendar in conjunction with national promotions, maximising use of all marketing materials to ensure maximum brand exposure in stores

– react to both speculative opportunities and plan for long-term development of business

These accounts include national and regional merchants, DIY and hardware stores.

LOCATION: Field based covering South Central including Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey and Hampshire postcodes GU, BA, BH, SP, SO and PO

PERSON: To be considered for this role you need to have experience working in a field based sales role targeting builders merchants, DIY, hardware or retail outlets. Additionally, you need to be extremely customer focused, cosmetically astute and have great communication and presentation skills and computer literacy. You will also have strong negotiating and influencing skills, first class interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as excellent attention to detail and be a team player.
