Job – Key Accounts Manager – Plumbing Products to Independents & Buying Groups – £65k ote

Market leading manufacturer of plumbing and bathroom products supplying both the domestic and commercial sectors. Key management role – taking ownership of the key national accounts within the independent merchant and buying groups – typically NBG, UKPS, Fortis and PHG.

PACKAGE; £45k – £50k basic plus c25% bonus, quality car and excellent benefits.

COMPANY: My client are a true market leading manufacturer who operate throughout the world supplying plumbing and bathroom products to the domestic and commercial markets. Their successful UK operation supply through the best known national plumbers merchants, Independent Merchants, Retailers and on line platforms. They are extremely well respected for both quality of products and after sales service.

THE JOB: This is a newly created role managing some of their biggest and most valuable accounts within the Independent Merchant sector – typically UKPS, Fortis, PHG and NBG. You will take a strategic approach – analysing branch/region sales, performance and product offering whilst working closely with the customer advising on market trends, new products, adding value etc. This is a true partnership between supplier and customer.

AREA: National role covering the whole of the UK requiring extensive UK travel and potentially some overnight stays.

PERSON: You will need to be a proven business professional with a strategic analytical approach whilst understanding the needs and challengers of this customer sector. A successful track record of successfully managing accounts within these Independent Merchants and Buying Groups together with exceptional negotiation and relationship building skills.
