Job – National Account Manager – Specialist Paints to Merchants/Distributors – National UK

Classic mix of Account Management and new business development managing an existing stockist base of specialist distributors, wholesalers and merchants across the whole of the UK. Typically merchandising, range development and working closely with the account base to maximise opportunities and sales.

PACKAGE:- c£50k basic plus bonus scheme, company Tesla and excellent benefits.

COMPANY:- A long established and very well respected European manufacturer of specialist exterior and interior finishing products for both performance and aesthetic applications. They are at the forefront of new technology and design backed up by exceptional support and customer service. They offer excellent training and development and enjoy exceptional staff retention.

THE JOB:- This is a role on their specialist paints division. You will be tasked with managing and further developing an established network of UK wide stockists – typically Merchants, Distributors and Wholesalers. Working closely with the customers to ensure targets and objectives are achieved, merchandising stock and displays whilst advising on sales trends and market intelligence.

AREA:- This is a national role requiring extensive travel.

PERSON:- The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record in account management and selling in to Distributors and Wholesalers. You will need to be well organised, self motivated and comfortable working autonomously. A strong presenter coupled with the ability to influence will be key.
