Job – Senior Sales Assistant – Building Materials – Branches in East Anglia

Excellent internal sales opportunities based at various locations throughout East Anglia and Essex. My client are an established independent Builders Merchant group supplying regional and local contractors. If you can manage existing customer relationships as well as develop new business opportunities then my client would love to hear from you.

PACKAGE: £25k – £35k basic plus bonus, contributory pension scheme and private medical cover.

THE COMPANY: My client are an established independent merchant group with branches situated across East Anglia and Essex. They supply to regional and local building and roofing contractors where they have built up an excellent reputation for customer service and stockholding. They empower their branch managers to make their own decisions and run the branch as if it were their own business.

THE JOB: As a senior sales assistant you will enjoy a key role within the branch – driving sales alongside other branch team members. You will manage and further develop an existing customer base alongside proactively sourcing and developing new customers.

LOCATION: There are a number of opportunities at my client’s branches in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

THE PERSON: You will need to have a background in building/construction or roofing products. You will be extremely pro-active, with the ability to develop your own customer base. You will be a team player but also be able to work on your own initiative. In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be in contact with customers on a daily basis where attention to detail is a must.
