Job – Trade Key Accounts Manager – Bathroom/Plumbing Products to Merchants – National – £65k ote

A true National Account and man management role – growing, developing and fostering partnership trading with National and Independent Merchant Groups, Distributors and Buying Groups.

THE PACKAGE: Negotiable basic salary c£55k plus 20% salary, car allowance, contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday.

THE COMPANY: My client are an established and well recognised brand – an innovative manufacturer of plumbing and bathroom products sold through Specification, Merchant/Distribution and OEM channels. Functional and eco friendly products backed up with excellent technical support and customer service.

THE JOB: Your main focus will be to develop, grow and foster relationships with key Merchant accounts – Both National and Independents/Buying Groups. Working closely with other members of the sales team you will develop customer specific plans and strategies for sales growth, margin and business plans. You will be negotiating trading agreements at the highest of levels whilst ensuring all initiatives are rolled out at branch level.

THE LOCATION: This is a field based role covering the whole of the UK.

THE PERSON: You will need to demonstrate contacts and negotiation dealings within head office of National Merchants – specifically within the Bathroom or Plumbing categories. A motivational man manager you will also need to lead a small team and nurture relationships at all levels. Customer focussed, commercially aware, process driven & the ability to implement systems are all key attributes to this role.
