Fantastic opportunity to get in to field sales with a world leading manufacturer of construction and building products. You will support the Merchant and DIY sales division through Trade days, staff training, product demonstrations, application advice, merchandising and exhibitions. PACKAGE: c£25k – £28k basic plus company car together with first class personal benefits and career development.

THE JOB: This is a great opportunity to develop a career in field sales. Your focus will be to support the National and Independent Builders Merchant accounts together with various DIY/Home Improvement outlets – providing support and training to both Merchant staff and their contractor/installer customers. Typically you will provide and host Trade Days, product demonstrations, staff training as well as merchandising, setting up displays and maximising sales opportunities.

AREA: This is a field role covering a large geographical area across the East and North East of England. Ideally you should be based close to the major motorway links – Leeds, Newcastle, York, Hull, Nottingham, Derby etc.

PERSON: This role would best suit an individual looking to progress their career in to field sales. You may be working internally within a Builders Merchant or in High Street retail sales and looking for the next step. Overall you will have a positive “can do” attitude together will a real desire to learn and a helpful customer focussed approach.
