PACKAGE: On offer is a salary of up to £45,000 plus a bonus of up to £18,000 and car, mobile phone and 23 days plus bank holidays increasing with years of service.
THE COMPANY: Our client has a great heritage and name within the water controls sector and is respected for being at the forefront of design and innovation targeting the specification market working on projects within the leisure, hospitality and healthcare sectors.
THE JOB: Area Sales Manager: The successful candidate will be tasked with selling a range of commercial bathroom products including taps and showers via specification with architects, M&E consultants, contractors and corporate end-users. Following projects from conception to completion you will be responsible for communicating with all key stakeholders from client to architect/specifier at design stages through to the merchant and installers toward the end of the process. This role will involve a mix of new business and account management.
LOCATION: Field based covering South Wales & South West – Devon, Dorset, Cornwall, Somerset, North Somerset and South Wales locations including Cardiff, Swansea, Truro, Newport, Bristol, Bath, Taunton, Exeter, Plymouth and Torquay – postcodes TR, SA, CF, NP, BS, BA, TA, EX, TQ & PL
THE PERSON: To apply you need to have experience working in a field sales role and be structured, target-driven and hungry to progress. You could come from either a construction or FMCG field sales background but must be able to demonstrate sales successes and be willing to be trained on the specification process and presenting CPD’s. Any experience working with architects or M&E consultants would be an advantage but is not essential.
