Brexit uncertainty and political indecision continues to hit UK Construction

Building activity in the construction sector fell at the second-fastest rate in over a decade, according to the latest PMI.  The IHS Markit/CIPS Construction Purchasing Managers’ Index dropped to 43.3 in September, from 45.0 in August, marking the second-fastest downturn since April 2009. Residential building saw its fourth successive monthly decrease.
