They supply standard and bespoke products to some of the most prestigious projects both in the UK and overseas through Architects, Designers, Developers and Retail. Developing and implementing a new commercial strategy to improve efficiency, develop new markets, grow revenue and increase profitability you will embrace the history yet strive for improvement.

PACKAGE: £120k – £150k basic plus bonus and executive benefits.

COMPANY: My client is a long-established and highly revered supplier of premium tile and natural stone surfaces offering bespoke solutions to both internal and external applications. They fabricate truly beautiful products and finishes to prestigious projects both in the UK and overseas. Following extensive investment, they are embarking on an exciting journey of growth driven by the key appointment of a new Commercial Director.

THE JOB: The Commercial Director will require a strategic approach and evaluation of all commercial processes within the business, implementing new strategies to grow revenue and profit. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiencies and results. Develop new markets, new customers, grow order values and ultimately increase profit. Collaborate with and across other internal departments and managers including Marketing, Finance, Operations and Logistics.

LOCATION: Head Office is based in the North of England. Candidates will need to live M1 corridor giving easy access to both North and South.

PERSON: The successful candidate will need to be dynamic, and driven, with both a strategic and analytical approach. Ideally, Degree educated with proven success in a senior commercial role preferably in a related product sector with experience in building and driving a high-performing team. You will be a natural leader with a successful track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving commercial excellence. A proficient communicator with the ability to foster relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
