JOB IN FOCUS: Marketing Manager for Flooring Manufacturer in South East: £70k OTE

Our Job in Focus for December is a fantastic marketing job working for a global and long-established manufacturer of high-end wood flooring and LVT. The position includes investigating, planning and implementing marketing activities to maintain and develop profitable sales throughout the UK in accordance with agreed business plans.

PACKAGE: Salary of up to £50,000 plus up to £20K bonus, pension & other benefits.

THE COMPANY: A respected wood floor manufacturer with a Worldwide heritage. A brand leader within the high-end flooring sector with innovative award-winning products. Responsible for bringing some World firsts to the market in terms of products covering multi-layer wood floors and water-based lacquer systems. They operate across a number of sectors supplying to high end residential and contract markets.

ROLE: Marketing Manager: This role is focused on developing and overseeing the creative marketing strategy in line with the company’s objectives and planning and implementing new product launches internally and externally. Other responsibilities include:

– responsibility for brand management and corporate responsibility
– creating marketing tools for distribution partners including POS and in-store communications
– monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications – monthly/quarterly reporting structure to analyse web clicks, newsletter and website traffic
– research and analysis market trends, competitors
– work with PR/ Comm partners to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels
– organising company conferences, trade shows, and other events

LOCATION: Office based in London with opportunities for flexible working from home. Ideally, candidates need to live within easy commute of London in any of the following areas but not limited to Greater London, Middlesex, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

PERSON: You will come from a marketing background from within either the commercial interiors sector or building products market. Ideally, you will have experience designing and developing retail point of sale solutions, and outsourcing to local supply partners and have a good commercial understanding of product positioning and use of Adobe Suite to support the creation of marketing materials across retail B2B and projects.
