Job in Focus: National Depot Manager for KBB products to Retail – £60k OTE

Our first Job in Focus for 2019 is a high-level opportunity where you would be responsible for managing four KBB product depots via individual depot managers and dotted line to internal sales teams. Responsibilities include recruitment of staff, health and safety, P&L, operations, and key accounts. This is an exciting new project and this person will be at the forefront of its delivery and management. The role is National but focused in the South East. £60k OTE

A well-established UK manufacturer of kitchen products with great USP’s selling via retail showrooms. 

PACKAGE: On offer is a basic salary up to £50,000 plus up to 20% bonus, company car, pension, phone, laptop and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading UK manufacturer who has been established for over 80 years and has a reputation for excellent service and quality of products. Due to success and growth, they are now planning on launching a number of depots throughout 2019 and looking for a Multi-Site Depot Manager to lead the new venture.

THE JOB: NATIONAL DEPOT MANAGER: This person will be responsible for managing 4 depots via 4 depot managers and dotted line to internal sales teams. Responsibilities include recruitment of staff, health and safety, P&L, operations, and key accounts. This is an exciting new project and this person will be at the forefront of its delivery and management.

LOCATION: This is a national role but with a focus on London and South East including Middlesex, Greater London, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Essex, West Sussex, East Sussex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Kent – with candidates ideally living in or around but not limited to the following towns: Guildford, Redhill, Slough, Watford, Enfield, Romford, Dagenham, Thurrock.

THE PERSON: To apply for this position you need to have experience working in the kitchen industry and managing multi-site branches/depots and have dealt with full P&L, health and safety and people management. Additionally, you need to be organised, professional and be used to delivering against / exceeding sales targets.
