THE COMPANY: On every building site, as part of the health & safety protocol a fire detection and alarm system are required for safety measures. Our client is the UK’s leading wireless system technology specialists and is looking for a top-quality National Sales Manager to join the team.
THE JOB: National Sales Manager – You’ll be managing a team of Area Sales Managers whilst managing your own National and Key Regional accounts selling wireless fire detection and alarm systems used on all building sites. You’ll sell directly through the procurement channels with main contractors and housebuilders both at head and regional office level within your territory and also out on-site building relationships and securing business with site managers. To be successful in this role you will need to be hungry, passionate and driven to succeed. This role will be negotiating and influencing at all levels as you’ll spend a lot of time with Senior H&S managers. The majority of business in new business secured through existing key accounts.
LOCATION: The role covers Nationally which includes, East Anglia, London, Middlesex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, the South West including Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Wales, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Humberside, North Yorkshire, Tyne & Wear, Cumbria, Cleveland and Scotland. Candidates living centrally based are best placed for this role.
THE PERSON: If you are a man-manager in the field and have been working with key & national housebuilders/main contractor customers please get in touch. You’ll be confident leading by example training, developing and mentoring your team to succeed. Someone who has negotiated Framework Agreements with main contractors is of particular interest.
