Job – Area Sales Manager – Building Materials to Contractors – Cambridgeshire – c£50k ote

Exciting opportunity within field sales for a growing Independent Merchant group at their branch in Peterborough. Working as part of a small close knit team you will be out in the field selling a wide range of building materials to local contractors and small housing developers.

PACKAGE – to £39k basic plus uncapped commission and bonus scheme, company car plus benefits.

THE JOB – As an Area Sales Manager you will be based at my client’s Peterborough branch covering an area c25-30 miles from the branch. Your primary role will be to develop relationships and influence building contractors and regional housing developers alongside managing existing customers ensuring opportunities are maximized.

PERSON – You will need to have a naturally bright and positive attitude together with a real team ethic. You will need to demonstrate a successful track record in field sales and be equally effective in both new business development and account management. An excellent communicator, self motivated and a clear focus on delivery exceptional customer service is key.
