Job – Area Sales Manager – Roofing Products to Merchants – South West & South Wales

Fantastic opportunity to break in to external sales with an established manufacturer within the Building and Roofing Products industry. Following continued growth in sales an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee/Junior Area Sales Manager covering South Wales & South West England.

PACKAGE: £35k basic (rising with experience) plus bonus, hybrid car, contributory pension scheme and excellent personal benefits.

COMPANY: Long established manufacturer of Building and Roofing Products supplied to the Roofing Merchant and Builders Merchant sector. They enjoy an excellent reputation and offer a wonderful opportunity to develop and further your career in field sales.

THE JOB: Working closely with an experienced Area Sales Manager you will manage and develop customer accounts within Roofing Merchants and Builders Merchants. You will benefit from expert training and mentoring whilst learning the job and familiarising yourself with the product portfolio and customer base.

AREA; This is a field sales role covering South West England and South Wales. Ideally you will be living centrally – typically Bristol, Swindon, Newport, Gloucester.

PERSON: First and foremost you will want to get in to field sales. Ideally you will have experience of working within a Merchant or building product distributor either in the sales office or trade counter sales. You will acquired an understanding of the industry and possess excellent inter personal and relationship building skills. Self-motivated and organised, with demonstrable experience of maximising productivity.
