Job – Branch Manager – Independent Builders Merchant – Kent – £56k ote

Exciting opportunity to join a growing Independent Merchant group at their branch in Kent. This is a hands-on role managing a small team selling a wide range of building materials to local contractors and small housing developers.

PACKAGE – Up to £46k basic plus c£10k bonus plus benefits.

THE JOB – To head up and lead a small team based in Kent supplying local contractors and small housing developers. The role is very hands-on and sales focussed with constant customer interaction. You will need to be a strong people manager, a natural motivator with the ability to lead by example. You will liaise with suppliers and customers ensuring the delivery of excellent service. You will also oversee all operational matters including health & safety, stock holding, deliveries etc.

LOCATION – This is a branch based role in Kent – TN2 postcode.

PERSON – You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills gained either as Branch Manager or an Assistant Branch Manager with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Sales and service focussed and the ability to react to changing demands will set you aside. An ultimate team player who can encourage and inspire is exactly what is required.
