BMA names Tom Reynolds as new CEO

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association – BMA – has named Tom Reynolds, pictured right, as its new CEO, taking over the role at the end of this year when longstanding CEO Yvonne Orgill, left, steps down.

Tom Reynolds – who will take on the role of CEO designate from the 7th May this year – is currently commercial and public affairs director at the British Ceramic Confederation.

Orgill – who has worked at the BMA for 33 years, 13 of which holding the title of CEO – will remain with the BMA in a part-time capacity and non-executive role from January 2020.

“Tom has a track record of supporting and championing manufacturers and also brings extensive lobbying experience and a commitment to environmental issues to the role,” she said.

“I am confident that he will provide strong leadership for the association as we enter the next exciting phase of growth. We will work together closely on a smooth transition to ensure that the BMA maintains its position as the voice of the industry.”

Reynolds added: “I am delighted to be joining the BMA at such an interesting time. The bathroom sector is facing many uncertainties and challenges but there are huge opportunities to influence and support manufacturers.

“The BMA has a thriving membership and strong foundations, I hope to build on this, making the association even stronger.”
