LEADING MANUFACTURER OF FLOORING PRODUCTS SELLING TO ARCHITECTS & CONTRACTORS WITHIN THE PUBLIC SECTOR!

PACKAGE: Basic salary of £40,000 with an OTE of £55,000 + company car, fuel card, company credit card, mobile phone, tablet & laptop, pension, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.

COMPANY: Our client is a global supplier of high-quality, commercial floor coverings & total solution flooring projects that include Linoleum, Vinyl, Luxury Vinyl Tiles, Flocked Flooring, Carpet Tiles and Entrance Flooring Systems. They pride themselves on offering a customer focused solution, whilst remaining innovative within a product focused environment.

ROLE: Business Development Manager - This is a specification role targeting, schools, universities, care homes, local councils and authorities as well as supplying the products to the NHS. Your time will be split between marketing to Architects, selling to contractors and end users. The product demand includes carpet, wood, vinyl, acoustic flooring and entrance flooring. You will be responsible for making contact with key decision makers including consultants, architects and contractors to win business.

LOCATION: Field based role covering East Scotland therefore candidates will ideally be based within this area or an easy commute of Edinburgh.

CANDIDATE: To be considered for this role, you must be lively and dynamic, with a can-do attitude. As well as having experience of having sold interior/ design led products via a field sales specification role. Any understanding of the public sector would be beneficial.
