SALARY: On offer is a basic salary of up to £40,000 plus up to 25% bonus, company car, pension, mobile phone, laptop and excellent holiday entitlement

JOB DESCRIPTION: KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER: This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company with a rich history and a superb product offering. This role is a Key Account Manager position managing major Contractor & Specification accounts in London & the South East. Reporting to the Southern Regional Sales Manager, this position offers a great opportunity to further develop business working with a ledger of large regional contractors whilst also developing new & existing business with regional housebuilders and with key specifiers including housing associations, local authorities and architects working on projects within healthcare, education.
Other responsibilities include:
- Management of nominated key regional accounts
- Identification, development and management of new opportunities
- Strategic development of nominated accounts to increase sustainable profitable and growth
- Exceeding margin and volume sales
- Producing accurate sales forecasting for the accounts
- Negotiating trading agreements and pricing strategies

LOCATION: Field based covering London & South East including Middlesex, Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Oxfordshire

PERSON: We are seeking a field sales executive with experience selling construction products to housebuilders or architects / housing associations / local authorities. Knowledge of the coatings or paint market would be advantage but it is not essential. You should possess sufficient technical aptitude to be able to understand and communicate product information. Computer literacy is another prerequisite for this role. Additionally you must possess high level selling, negotiating, communication and presentation skills and be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
